FRIDAY NIGHT!! You know what that means - themed date night! Tonight's Dinner and a Movie will be featuring the films "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" AND "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets". That's right - DOUBLE FEATURE!! Naturally my daughter has a copy of "The Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook" by Dinah Bucholz, so this month's recipes will all be courtesy of Ms. Bucholz. I flipped through the cookbook myself and I highly recommend it to any HP fan, or even just someone who wants to try their hand at classic British dishes!
Tonight's recipes are the classic Pumpkin Pasties (first seen in Sorcerer's Stone) and Shepherd's Pie (Chamber of Secrets).
